Veer's POV:

I woke up early, the first rays of the sun filtering through the curtains. Something felt off immediately—Akshu wasn't next to me. I reached out instinctively, expecting to find her warmth, but my hand only touched cold sheets.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes, trying to shake off the lingering sleep. "Akshu?" I called out softly, glancing around the room. No sign of her.

A wave of concern hit me. Where could she be this early? My mind raced, considering all the possibilities. That's when I heard the door to the bathroom creak open. I turned toward the sound.

Akshu stood there, her silhouette framed by the soft morning light. She had this strange expression on her face, a mix of nervousness and joy, like she was holding onto some big secret. My heart skipped a beat.

"Where did you go?" I asked, my voice groggy.

She didn't answer. Instead, she smiled softly and started walking toward me, her hands hidden behind her back. I frowned, sitting up straighter. Something was definitely up.

She stopped in front of me, looking down at me with those sparkling eyes. My frown deepened as I glanced from her face to her hands, trying to figure out what she was hiding. "Akshu?" I repeated, more curious now.

Finally, she pulled one hand forward and stretched it out toward me. In her palm was a small white plastic device. I blinked, taking it in my hand, confused. It had two pink lines on it. I stared at it, completely lost.

"What... what is this?" I asked, feeling like I was missing something important.

Akshu chuckled softly, rolling her eyes at my cluelessness. She leaned in and tapped me lightly on the forehead, a playful smirk on her lips. "You, my genius husband, are going to be a dad."

[Bhai mai ro dungi😭😭❤️]

Her words echoed in my head like a slow-motion explosion. A dad? Me? My mind struggled to process what she just said. My heart raced, but before I could react—before I could even breathe—I felt the world tilt sideways.

Everything went black.

[Mafia faint hogya😭😭🤧]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I opened my eyes, Akshu was kneeling beside me, her hands gently slapping my face and her voice full of panic. "Veer! Veer, wake up!"

I blinked, disoriented, feeling her sprinkle water on my face. I quickly sat up, the realization hitting me all over again like a second wave. "Akshu... did you just say... I'm going to be a dad?" My voice trembled as I spoke, still trying to make sense of it all.

She smiled wide, her eyes teary but glowing with joy. "Yes, Veer. You're going to be a father."

I froze for a moment, my heart swelling so much I thought it might burst. Tears blurred my vision as the weight of her words fully settled in. A slow, shaky breath escaped me. "I'm going to be a dad..." I repeated, my voice barely a whisper, filled with awe.

Suddenly, a surge of emotion overwhelmed me, and without thinking, I grabbed her and lifted her off the bed. I spun her around like a madman, laughing and crying all at once.

"Veer! Stop! You'll make me dizzy!" she squealed between giggles, clutching onto me for dear life.

But I couldn't stop. I didn't want to stop. The sheer happiness bursting inside me made everything else fade away. I gently placed her back on the bed, but I couldn't stop holding her, couldn't stop touching her. My hands cupped her face, my thumbs brushing away the few stray tears on her cheeks.

"Akshu, I can't believe this," I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. "We're going to have a baby. Our baby." My chest tightened at the thought, my head swimming with a thousand emotions.

She nodded, her own eyes shimmering with tears. "Yes, Veeransh. We're going to have a family."

The word family hit me hard. A family... our family. I've faced countless challenges, made deals worth millions, but nothing in my life ever felt this big—this life-changing.

Gently, I placed my hands on her stomach, even though I knew it was too early to feel anything. Still, knowing that our baby—our child—was there, growing inside her, made my heart swell with a fierce, protective love I never knew I was capable of.

"I'll take care of you, Little Baby." I whispered, my voice thick with determination. "Both of you. I'll do everything I can to keep you safe and happy."

Akshu's hand rested on mine, her fingers warm and reassuring. "I know, Veeransh. You're going to be the best father."

I pulled her into a tight embrace, burying my face in her hair. "I can't believe this is real," I murmured, my heart still racing with excitement.

She laughed softly against my chest. "It's very real, Veer. And we have a lot to prepare for."

I pulled back slightly to look at her, a playful grin tugging at the corners of my lips. "First things first. We need to celebrate." My eyes sparkled mischievously.

"Oh?" Akshu raised an eyebrow. "And how do you plan to do that?"

Without answering, I stood up, pulled her gently to her feet, and led her out onto the balcony. The early morning breeze ruffled her hair, and the golden sunlight bathed her face, making her look like some kind of angel. I looked out at the horizon, feeling like the luckiest man alive.

"I think we need to start this day by making memories," I said, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to it. "A day we'll never forget."

Akshu laughed softly. "Isn't finding out we're going to be parents enough of a memory?"

"Not even close," I said, pulling her close again, my heart full of love for the woman in my arms—and the tiny life we'd created together.

We stood there, holding each other, the world around us still and quiet, as if everything had paused just for us. I knew, in that moment, that our lives were about to change forever—and I was ready for it. Ready to face every challenge, every sleepless night, and every tear, as long as it meant being by her side.

Because this... this was the start of something more beautiful than I'd ever dreamed possible.

Akshu's POV:

I stood next to Veer, my heart racing with nervous excitement. His hand rested firmly in mine, giving me the comfort I needed as we stood in front of our family. It had only been a few hours since Veer found out about the pregnancy, and now we were about to announce it to everyone. I looked around the room, taking in the familiar faces of Dadiji, Papaji, Chachaji , Maa, Chachiji and my bacchas —Riansh, Hriday, and Pakhi—all waiting, oblivious to the life-changing news we were about to share.

Veer squeezed my hand lightly, a silent reassurance. I took a deep breath and stepped forward. "We have something to share with all of you," I said, my voice trembling slightly. Everyone's eyes were on us now, the room quiet with anticipation. I glanced up at Veer, and he nodded, encouraging me to continue.

"We're... we're going to have a baby," I finally blurted out, feeling the words rush out in one breath. For a second, the room was completely still, like time had frozen. Dadiji was the first to react, her eyes sparkling with pure joy.

"Oh my God!" Dadi exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement. She rushed toward us, her steps quick despite her age. "Oh, my dear!" she cried, her hands clasped together. "My Akshu, you've given us such beautiful news!"

She moved towards me with surprising speed for her age, pulling me into her arms. I felt her hands gently cup my cheeks as she looked into my eyes. "You're a gift to this family, Akshu," she whispered, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "May God bless you both, and this little one who's coming into our lives."

Her words filled my heart with warmth, and I could feel my own eyes misting up. "God bless you, my dear. May this little one bring nothing but happiness and blessings to your life."

Tears brimmed in my eyes as Dadi pulled me into a tight, loving embrace. Her affection and blessings filled my heart. It wasn't just her words—it was the way she looked at me like I was her own granddaughter. She'd always made me feel like I belonged, but today, it felt even more special.

Papaji was next. His eyes crinkled at the corners, and he gave me one of those proud, fatherly smiles that always made me feel welcome in their home. "This is wonderful news, Akshu. You've given us the best gift we could ask for." He pulled me in for a gentle hug, and I could feel the love and pride radiating from him. He patted Veer's back as well, his joy undeniable. "You two are going to be wonderful parents."

Chachaji chimed in with a laugh, shaking Veer's hand and then pulling me into a bear hug. "Well done, Akshu! You've made this family even more complete."

As I stood there, receiving their blessings and congratulations, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by their love.  Before I could catch my breath, Maa stepped forward with a smile that seemed to brighten the whole room.  she said softly, her voice full of warmth. "You've made us so proud."

[Oh, my dear Akshu]

She reached out, her fingers lightly brushing against my forehead as she whispered a prayer, taking any evil eyes away with her gestures. It was such a small act, but it meant the world to me. Her eyes gleamed with unspeakable joy, and I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards her.

"You've brought so much light into this family," she added, her hands still resting gently on my shoulders. "And now, you're giving us the greatest gift of all—a grandchild."

Her words melted into me, filling me with a feeling of love and acceptance. I smiled back at her, blinking back the happy tears threatening to fall.

And within a swift motion, all my 3 kiddos, pulled me in a bear hug. Yelling and laughing excitedly. Riansh lifted me up and spin me around.

[Baccha be like: Saala duniya me aane se pehle hi mera baap aur chacha mujhe puri duniya ghuma rhe h😭]

"Bhabhimaa!! I'm going to be Chachu.", I looked at Riansh, who was crying. He gently put me down. And before, hriday can come near me. He was pushed by none other than my great husband, Veeranshu Singhaniya. "Idiots, you're going to hurt my babies.", he glared at three of them and walked towards me.

"Little Birdie, are you ok? Did you got hurt", I let out a soft laugh. He is so protective for us from now onwards. He is such a cutie.

"I'm okay, Veeransh", I said. "We're going to be uncles and an aunt!" Pakhi squealed, her face alight with excitement as she twirled around.

Hriday joined in, already boasting. "No way! I'm going to be the coolest Chachu! The baby's going to love me more!"

Riansh crossed his arms, smirking. "Dream on, Hriday! I'll be the favorite Chachu. This baby's going to follow me around everywhere."

[yeah we'll see that]

Pakhi, not one to back down, teased them both. "Please, like a niece or nephew wouldn't love their fun, amazing aunt the most!"

Watching them bicker made me laugh. Their excitement was infectious, and I could already see how much love this baby would be surrounded by. Veer chuckled next to me, his eyes filled with affection as he watched his siblings. He turned to me, his hand resting protectively on my back. "Looks like the baby's going to have plenty of love."

I nodded, my heart swelling with joy. "More than I could've ever imagined," I whispered.

As the joyful chaos continued, Maa looked at us with a soft smile. "Amidst all this excitement, you both should make sure to visit the doctor soon," she reminded us. "We need to ensure everything is going smoothly."

I nodded, feeling comforted by her care. "I'll schedule the appointment," Veer assured her.

She smiled warmly, patting my hand. "Good. And don't worry, Akshu, we'll be with you every step of the way. It's a new overwhelming feeling. It's a new experience for you. Do not panic ever."

Standing there, surrounded by Veer's loving family, I realized how lucky I was. His Dadi's blessings, his father's pride, Meera's protective gestures, and the playful love of his siblings—all of it made me feel like I was truly home. This was my family now, and the love they showered me with felt like the most beautiful gift.

I looked at Veer, who was still holding my hand, his eyes brimming with happiness. He leaned in, kissing the top of my head. "I told you they'd be over the moon," he whispered.

I smiled up at him, my heart filled with warmth. "You were right," I whispered back. "And I couldn't ask for anything more."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later that evening, after all the excitement with the family had died down, Veer pulled me aside, a mischievous grin on his face. "Come with me," he whispered, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Where are we going?" I asked, laughing softly, though I followed him without hesitation. He didn't answer, just kept leading me down the hallway, through the back door, and into the garden that stretched behind the mansion. The night was calm, and a soft breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers in the air.

In front of us stood a breathtakingly beautiful canopy, softly glowing under the moonlight. Fairy lights were draped across the top and sides, twinkling like stars, and hanging delicately from them were photos—our photos. Memories of us together, from when we first met, our wedding day, all the little moments we'd shared along the way. The soft, golden glow of the lights made the entire setup look magical, like something from a dream.

[My my Veer....😭😭❤️]

"Veer..." I whispered, completely stunned. "This is... wow..."

I couldn't stop smiling as I gazed at the canopy. Each picture told a story—our story. The way he had carefully hung them made it clear how much thought he'd put into this. My eyes landed on a photo of us from our picnic to the farmhouse, where we were laughing together. The memory of that carefree moment made me smile even more.

Veer led me under the canopy, where a small table was set up with candles flickering softly, casting a warm glow over everything. There were snacks laid out on the table, nothing extravagant, but perfect for the intimate moment he had created. A soft breeze rustled the fairy lights, making the photos gently sway. I felt surrounded by love and memories.

"You did all this?" I asked, my voice filled with emotion as I looked around, taking in every detail.

He smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I wanted to celebrate... just the two of us," he said, pulling me gently towards the table. "You've given me the best news of my life today, Akshu. I wanted to do something small, something special for you."

I couldn't stop the tears that pricked at my eyes. "It's perfect, Veer," I murmured, my heart swelling with love. "This is so thoughtful. Thank you."

We spent the evening talking and laughing under the soft glow of the lights, reminiscing about the moments captured in the photos above us. Veer's hand never left mine, his touch grounding me in the present while our memories floated all around us. It was just the two of us, like he had promised, and it felt magical.

At one point, Veer reached into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. My heart skipped a beat as I stared at it, curiosity filling my mind.

"Veer... what's this?" I asked, my eyes widening as he slid the box across the table.

"Open it and see," he said, his smile warm and affectionate.

With slightly trembling hands, I opened the box, revealing a delicate silver bracelet inside. It was simple but beautiful, with a tiny charm shaped like a baby's foot hanging from the chain. My heart melted instantly, tears welling up in my eyes as I looked at him.

"This is so beautiful," I whispered, my voice catching as I spoke.

Veer took the bracelet from the box and gently fastened it around my wrist. "It's a little reminder of our baby," he said softly, his eyes never leaving mine. "And a promise that I'll always be here for you, Akshu. For both of you."

[Veer you don't know...what you're doing to our hearts. Raising standards every single time.🤌🏻😭😭]

Tears filled my eyes as I looked at him, overwhelmed with love. I leaned across the table, cupping his face in my hands. "You already are everything I could ever need, Veer. I love you so much."

[Ye dono humko single maarke hi rahenge😭😭]

The fairy lights twinkled above us, the photos swaying gently as if the memories themselves were alive in the moment. Veer smiled, leaning in to kiss me softly, and I felt like I was in a dream—one I never wanted to wake from. Just the two of us, celebrating the beginning of our new chapter, under the glow of all the love and memories we had shared.
