7. Escape??

AUTHOR POV:

For everyone around her, it was just another day, but for Akshara, it marked a new hope for freedom. She rose at 7 a.m., completed her chores, and packed her belongings. Fortunately, she had saved enough money from her internships to cover her train ticket, a week's accommodation, and food. Finding work was the next step, but that was a concern for later.

She departed from the house, a single trolley bag in hand, eager to leave the dreadful place behind. A triumphant smile graced her face as she hailed a taxi and instructed the driver to take her to the station.

Eventually, the taxi stopped at the station, and she stepped out to purchase a ticket from Amritsar to Chandigarh. The city was vast and unfamiliar, a place where her past with Mr. Singhaniya and their Sikh marriage would be unknown. She believed she would finally be free from him.

(Ohho meri bholi Akshu, yahi tum galat ho😏 veer jab kisika haat thaam leta h toh kabhi chodta nhi)

She was waiting for the train to arrive, with one hour remaining until its scheduled arrival.

On the other side:

Veer was having breakfast with his family, just like any other day, but today his face carried a special glow. He couldn't contain his happiness, which was evident in his broad smile and twinkling eyes. It was a smile that spoke of excitement and anticipation, much like a teenager who just found out their crush agreed to go out on a date with them.

His family couldn't help but notice this change in Veer. They were curious but hesitated to ask directly, except for Hriday, who couldn't contain his curiosity. "Bhaiyya, why are you smiling like this? Is something very special happening today?" he asked, unable to hold back.

Veer looked at each of them with a gentle smile, knowing they were all waiting for his answer. With a hint of mystery, he replied, "Today, by evening, you will hear good news." His words hung in the air, sparking even more curiosity among his family members.

Everyone wanted to know more, eager to share in Veer's happiness, but they also knew better than to press him for details. They could sense the joy radiating from him, making the morning breakfast feel warmer and more hopeful than usual.

{Ruko veer, abhi tumko ek surprise deti hu😈😈....1..2..3... Ringing of phone}

The ringing of Veer's phone took everyone's attention. He received the call "Hello....." and a sudden change in his facial expression from being happy to furious, made everybody so confused. Veer had clutched his phone, that it might break in two, but he masked. He got up from his seat and answered in cold tone, "How dare she do this... I am on my way." Veer saw everyone's concerned face, but he didn't had anytime to explain the situation, so he informed them," Mom dad I am going, I have an urgent work. Bye." with this he made his way outside the mansion.

He started his car and drive rashly. He dialled the number of his personal spy, whom he had kept to spy on Akshu's family and her whereabouts.

"Haris, what were you saying before?", Veer asked in a cold tone; if anyone appears in front of him at this time, he will split their throat in no seconds without any remorse.

"Sir...Sir today madam didn't come out for the college, and we saw her home room opened, we checked and found out that she ran away." The man stuttered and he was fearing for his life. He very well knows, what power Veeranshu Singhaniya holds. He is pitying at the girl's ill fate.

"Listen to me very carefully, call every fucking man and start for searching her in every corner of the city. I want my WIFE back as soon as possible or else you all will be dead.", Veer ordered the man. He hanged the call and dialed his hacker and said, " I want you to track Akshara's number, NOW!!", he roared. Veer was restless and he made sure that he will hunt down Akshara even if she is in hell.

Veer's mafia gang swiftly seized control of the city, blocking every station, bus stop, and toll booth. When they discovered that Akshara was at the railway station, Veer ordered his men to clear it out. As the mafia boss, his word was absolute.

Akshara sat in her seat, lost in thought. The sudden noise around her yanked her back to reality. She turned and her eyes widened in shock. Large, intimidating men were methodically searching every seat. Fear gripped her heart as she tried to make sense of the situation. The passengers were being ushered out of the train in an orderly line.

Instinctively, Akshara rose to leave, but a bulky man blocked her path.

(Poor girl don't know that her husband is a mafia man🤌🏻✨)

"Excuse me, sir, please let me go," Akshara said, her voice trembling with anxiety.

"Ma'am, we cannot let you go. It's Sir's order," the man replied firmly.

A cold dread washed over Akshara as she realized Veer was behind this. Her pulse quickened, and she felt trapped. She looked around, desperate for an escape, but the exits were blocked.

"Sir, please let me—" she started, but a familiar, chilling voice interrupted her.

"Jaan."

Akshara turned, her heart pounding. Veer was walking towards her, a smirk playing on his lips. His eyes gleamed with a mix of possessiveness and anger. The sight of him sent a shiver down her spine.

"Veer, please..." she pleaded, her voice shaking, but he silenced her with a gesture.

"Shhh... sweetheart. I know you feel guilty for running away from me. But it's too late, and you've angered me so much. Still, I won't hurt you; I'll hurt your loved ones instead," he said, his voice dangerously calm, his eyes boring into hers.

Akshara felt a cold wave of terror. The thought of her loved ones in danger made her heart ache, but she couldn't bear the idea of losing her freedom either.

"Veer, please, I can't marry you. Please let me go... aahh!" she screamed as Veer fired a bullet into the air. Her body shook with fear, and she looked at him with wide, teary eyes. He grabbed her chin harshly, his fury evident.

"How dare you think you can leave me," he growled, his voice dripping with menace.

Akshara's sobs grew louder, but her tears had no effect on Veer. His expression remained hard, his eyes cold and unyielding.

"You can't run away from me. Wherever you go, I am your only and final destination," he said, a devilish smirk curling his lips.

Veer's presence was terrifying. His anger and madness were palpable, making him look even more menacing.

"Sweetheart, let's go. Come," he said, his voice deceptively gentle. But Akshara didn't move, rooted to the spot by fear and defiance. Veer sighed, then bent down and picked her up in a bridal style. She screamed for help, her hands beating against his chest, but her efforts were futile.

When they reached the car, Akshara continued to resist, her pleas and struggles growing more desperate. Veer, his patience wearing thin, signaled one of his men. The man handed over an injection, which Veer promptly used on Akshara. She felt a sharp sting on her neck, and her vision blurred. Within moments, she collapsed in Veer's arms.

"Sweetheart, you've brought out the bad side of me today by pulling such stunts. Now, you'll face the consequences," he muttered, looking down at her unconscious form on his lap. His fury simmered beneath the surface, a dangerous promise of what was to come.
