24. Muh Dikhai ✨✨

📖

Akshu's muh dikhai began and everyone started seeing her face.

"Bhabhi... Chand ka tukda layi ho."

"Veeranshu toh humara bada khushnaseeb hai."

"Laxmi aayi hai."

Everybody was praising Akshu when a group of bitch women said,

"Behan...maine toh suna hai ye ladki anarth hai.....sadak chaap bahu lane ki kya zarurat thi....Meri sweety aati toh chaar chand lag jate"

They heard a soul shattering voice and..........

VEER's POV:

I could see the surprise and confusion in Akshu's eyes as she turned to look at me. This bitch's words had been sharp, cutting through the air and piercing my akshu's heart. But I couldn't let her believe for a second that she was alone in this world, that the words spoken about her are true.

As I stood there, my heart pounding with a mix of anger and protectiveness, I couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness for Akshu. She is my everything, my sweetheart, and I couldn't bear to see her hurting. I had to make her understand that she was not alone, that she had a support system that would never waver.

With determination in my voice, I yelled, "Hold on, don't finish your sentence!" My words echoed through the room, demanding attention. I stepped closer to Akshu, standing shoulder to shoulder with her, a united front against the world.

"Who said my Akshu is alone?" I continued; my voice filled with confidence

. "She has her whole family with her." I gestured towards my family members, who were standing nearby, their eyes filled with concern and love for Akshu. They had embraced her as one of their own, accepting her into our fold without hesitation.

"And a husband too," I added, my voice softening as I gently squeezed Akshu's upper arm. It was a gesture of reassurance, a silent promise that I would always be there for her, no matter what. I wanted her to feel the strength of our bond, to understand that she was not alone in this journey called life.

In that moment, I could see a flicker of hope in Akshu's eyes. She realized that she was not alone, that she had a family who loved her unconditionally. And as I looked into her eyes, I silently vowed to protect her from any pain or hurt that may come her way.

This bitch, who had hurt Akshu with her words, would not get away with it. I would stand by her side, shielding her from any harm, and ensuring that she always felt loved and supported.

As the room fell silent, the weight of my words hung in the air. Akshu turned to me, her eyes filled with gratitude and love. I intertwined our hands. She held it tightly.

"Mrs. Sinha, niklo yaha se mai apni beti ki beizatti bardasht nahi kr sakti.", mom said, her voice trembling with anger and frustration. "She doesn't deserve to be treated like this, and I won't stand for it any longer." I know my mom, she always wanted a daughter, even after princess birth, still there was a longlines in her eyes. But after seeing Akshu her all wishes came true. She will do anything to protect Akshu.

"Auntiji, aapki priya meri bhabhi ki pairo ki dhul bhi nhi ban skti. Aayi badi sweety meri chaar chand laga deti !! grahan lati wo nhi bola aapne. Ab isse pehle mai kuch aur aapko acche shabd boldu, daffa hojaiye.", Ansh said, his face turning red with rage. " Get lost," he shouted, his patience wearing thin. Ansh, calls Akshu Bhabhimaa not for name sake because he means it. He is like a Laxman to her.

I gestured to one of my men to bring this lady to the basement. "She needs to learn a lesson," I said coldly, my eyes narrowing as I watched her being led away. "No one disrespects me or my family and gets away with it." I saw akshu stiffened after hearing my tone.

Akshu was quietly weeping, so I signaled to Pakhi to bring her some water and food. I guided Akshu to sit on the chair and reassured her, saying, "Hey baby, don't overthink. I'm here with you."

"I want to go to my room, Veeransh," she sobbed, and I couldn't help but wipe away her tears. Seeing her cry, it hurts here in my heart. I didn't know it even exist. But her oly one command and I will burn this fucking world for her." OH boyyy!! She called me Veeransh. Pull yourself together, you idiot. It's not the time to be happy.", I scolded to my inner self.

"Maa, we're leaving" I informed my mom, and she came towards us and said words of affirmation to Akshu.

"Akshu Baccha, take care of yourself, my child. We're here for you," Mom said.

We were going, when I saw her being uncomfortable in walking. I took her in bridal style, and we headed upstairs.

When I placed Akshu on the bed, her face lost all the shine. I will kill that woman.

Akshu POV:

They are so good for me. I don't deserve their love. I don't deserve anything good. Suddenly, my head started to throbb and all the bad memories of their taunts and insults flashed in front of my eyes.

{{"A whore like you, isn't even worthy of looking", chachaji kicking me on the back.

"Bitch, your mother dropped u at the orphanage. because you are burden to them.",chachiji said grabbing a fistful of my hands.

"You, how dare you even come outside, I am so embarrassed you classless girl", priya di said

"Let's go somewhere alone", Rohan bhai cornered me in the hall. }}

I can't bear this....Please make it STOP!!!! My palms are sweaty, I am not able to breathe.

"PLEASE MAKE IT STOPP!!!!", I yelled tears flowing from my eyes. I am shaking, my heart pounding as if it will explode anytime.

"Make it stoppp!!!", the noises were growing more.

My eyes are blurry, I couldn't see anything. "Akshuuu" I heard him. He is here, he will save me.

"Vee.....raaanshh, save me!!", I yelled, and he pulled me in a tight hug. His warmth is so comforting and soothing. He said sweet nothings to me. My breathing got normal.

"Akshu", he held my face in his hands, his own eyes teary. Why? I need him everytime I am in pain.

"Veeransh, I am not.... worthy, they are saying....like that.", I hiccupped in between.

"Baby, no one is here. See, I am here, and our family is there. No one is going to say anything. Hmm...You have stressed too much to yourself. Calm down.", he said and I felt comfort in his words. The way he is reassuring me like a baby.

Suddenly, we heard a knock on the door. We pulled back from the hug and I straightened myself.

"Bhaiyya, food for Bhabhimaa.," Pakhi entered with a tray full of fruits and meal. I already lost my all appetite. She gave me one last look and left the room.

"I'm not hungry, Veeransh. Please," I refused and lied. I seriously don't want to eat. "Akshu, eat it now," He said in a monotone voice.

How can he yell at me, I huffed and made a pout. He noticed that maybe and brought a morsel of food near my mouth. I turned my face to side, and he pulled me to his lap.

"Veeraansh, what did you do?", I asked, and he just shrugged like it's not a big deal.

"Meri biwi, khaa nahi rahi thi, toh mujhe apna tarika azmana pada. Chalo khao ab. Warna mujhe dusra tarika bhi aata hai khilane ka.", He warned me. He continued feeding me and I ate like a kid.

"You didn't ate?", I asked. "I will eat later.", he made an excuse, but I made him eat all the meal.

"Chalo, sojao.", He was going but it felt like he was going to leave me alone in the darkness.

"Please..don't go", I held his hand and he looked at me with softness in his eyes.

"I am not going baby. I am here see. Just sleep Okay.", I nodded, and he sat beside me. He was caressing my hairs and when sleep consumed me, I don't know.

IN THE BASEMENT

Veeransh's anger was an understatement. He was seething with rage, witnessing how his beloved couldn't sleep.

He had a strong desire to silence that woman. He entered the room of pure evil and confidently made his way to the chair, sitting down like a king.

"Why did you bring me here, Veer?" the woman asked, her voice filled with confusion.

"You really don't know why you're here?" Veer taunted, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"Please, I'm sorry. Just let me go," the woman pleaded, but her cries fell on deaf ears.

Trigger Warning ⚠️

Veer requested a scraper and meticulously began removing the woman's nails.

Veer laughed maniacally, unable to contain himself. He whispered, "This is what happens when someone dares to harm my family. Akshu was the target this time, and I couldn't let it go unpunished."

The woman's attempts to form words turned into agonized screams. The room bore witness to her pain and suffering.

Finally, Veer took a knife and swiftly slit the woman's throat, ending her life instantly. "Feed her to the lions or tigers," Veer commanded before leaving the room.

Triggered Warning ended

______________________________________

When Veer arrived at his mansion, he noticed a car parked outside.

Veer touched her feet. She gave him blessings and said, " jeete raho, shaadi mein aa nahi payi toh Bahu ka muh dekh lungi Aaj"

" Didi, Akshu ki tabiyat thik nahi hai wo rest kar rahi hai. AAP chaliye dinner krne",Meera handled the situation and told veer to go his room.

Veer made his way to his room and saw Akshu's sleeping figure.

He kissed her forehead and went to shower.

After coming, he slid in the sheets beside Akshu and hugged from behind.

He can't let her be alone, he is even ready to get hit by her kicks.

"Goodnight, little birdie",he said and drowned in sleep.
