📖
Akshu was still in the same position, sitting near the bed, when she shrieked at the harsh banging on the door. Her body felt heavy, weighed down by exhaustion and despair, and she didn't have the energy to move. The door burst open with a loud creak, and the two ugly security guards of Vidyut stood there, their imposing figures casting long shadows into the dim room.
Akshu sat up straight, her eyes red and swollen from crying. She had been sobbing for what felt like an eternity, and the tears had left her feeling weak and hollow. Every part of her ached, and she felt like she could collapse at any moment. The booming voices of the men demanded her attention once more, and she looked at them with a mix of fear and defiance.
"Listen, girl. Just get freshened up and ready in this dress. Boss will be coming anytime soon," one of them barked, his voice lacking any hint of compassion.
But Akshu was too adamant to agree with their demands. She glanced at the pink lehenga and the jewelry in the bag in front of her. The sight of the outfit filled her with a renewed sense of anger and determination. Summoning all the strength she had left, she grabbed the bag and hurled it at the guards with as much force as she could muster.
"Tell your boss that I don't care about his demands," she spat, her voice trembling with emotion but firm in its resolve. "He should release me, otherwise, my husband won't be good news for him."
Her eyes blazed with defiance, and despite her exhaustion, there was an undeniable fire in her gaze. She was not going to be intimidated or coerced into submission. The guards exchanged uneasy glances, clearly taken aback by her sudden outburst. Akshu's heart pounded in her chest, but she held her ground, refusing to let them see any sign of weakness.
For a moment, there was silence. The tension in the room was palpable, and the guards seemed uncertain about what to do next. Akshu continued to glare at them, her breathing heavy and her fists clenched at her sides. She was terrified, but she was also resolute. No matter what happened, she would not let them break her spirit.
Finally, one of the guards grumbled something under his breath and turned to leave, the other following close behind. They shut the door with a loud thud, and Akshu was left alone once more. She let out a shaky breath, feeling a mixture of relief and anxiety. She had stood up to them, but she knew that the real challenge was yet to come.
As she sat back down, she closed her eyes and tried to steady her nerves. She knew she had to stay strong, for herself and for her husband. No matter what Vidyut had planned, she would not give in without a fight.

Veer's POV:
Veer paced back and forth, his heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and determination. "Today, I'm coming to you, Akshu. I know you are waiting for me. Just don't lose hope, Love," he muttered under his breath, his eyes burning with resolve.
After learning who was behind Akshu's abduction, Veer had wasted no time. His fingers had flown across his phone screen, making frantic calls to his mafia contacts. Each call had brought him closer to his goal, and finally, he had the information he needed. Vidyut's exact location was pinned down, and they were tracking Akshu's ring, a small beacon of hope in this nightmare.
"Vidyut, you bastard, you are gone," Veer growled, his jaw clenched. "I will crush you into pieces for taking my Jaan away from me."
Gathering his most trusted men, Veer briefed them quickly. "We move out now. This place is far from here, so we're taking the chopper," he announced, his voice unwavering. The men nodded, their faces set with determination.
Veer boarded his private helicopter, his mind racing with thoughts of Akshu. The captain, sensing the urgency, quickly started the chopper, and within minutes, they were airborne. The ground fell away beneath them, and Veer settled into his seat, his gaze fixed on the horizon.
As the chopper soared through the sky, Veer's thoughts were solely on Akshu. He could almost see her, tired and defiant, waiting for him. His heart ached with the desire to hold her, to reassure her that everything would be alright. But there was also a cold, steely edge to his emotions. Vidyut would pay dearly for this.
Veer pulled out a detailed map and spread it out in front of him. He pointed to the location marked with a red circle. "This is where he is. We'll land here," he indicated a spot a few miles away from Vidyut's hideout. "We'll approach on foot to avoid detection. I want snipers in position here and here," he said, pointing to vantage points around the hideout. "We'll have a team ready to breach from the front and another from the back. Our priority is Akshu's safety. No unnecessary risks."
His men nodded, absorbing every word. They had seen Veer in action before and knew he was a man of his word. There was a palpable tension in the air, a shared sense of purpose. They all knew how much Akshu meant to Veer, and they were ready to follow him into the lion's den.
Veer checked his watch, every second feeling like an eternity. His mind raced through various scenarios, planning and re-planning their attack. He couldn't afford any mistakes. His love for Akshu gave him strength, but it also made the stakes unbearably high.
"We'll get Ma'am back," one of his men said, breaking the silence.
Veer nodded, his eyes steely. "Yes, we will. And Vidyut will regret the day he crossed me."
The chopper flew on, slicing through the sky with relentless speed. Veer leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment, picturing Akshu's face. He could almost hear her voice, feel her presence. It gave him the strength to keep going, to fight with everything he had.
As they neared their destination, Veer sat up, his focus sharpening. "We're almost there. Get ready," he instructed his men. The chopper began its descent, and Veer's heart pounded with anticipation.
Today was the day. He would save Akshu and make sure Vidyut paid for his crimes. The journey had been long and arduous, but Veer was ready. He would stop at nothing to bring his love back home.

Akshu's POV: (On the other side, at same time.)
I was looking outside the window, my mind racing with thoughts of Veer, when I saw a faint shadow behind me. Alarmed, I quickly turned around to find Vidyut standing there, his eyes blazing with anger. My heart pounded in my chest as I instinctively backed off a little, but he stepped closer, his presence suffocating.
Desperately, I scanned the room for any means of escape, but there was none. Vidyut's voice broke the tense silence, dripping with menace. "What were you saying, Rose? You won't listen to me, huh?" he snarled, grabbing my arms with such force that I feared they might break.
"Y-yes... I-I said," I stuttered, my voice trembling, but I steeled myself. I would not surrender to him or his demands. I would not give up on Veer and our love. The look on Vidyut's face shifted, and a horrifying, evil smile spread across his lips.
"Okay, you're not leaving me with any choices," he said, his voice dangerously calm. Before I could react, he grabbed my dupatta and yanked it off in one swift motion. Panic surged through me as he reached for my arms, his intentions clear and vile.
In a desperate bid for freedom, I mustered all my strength and pushed him hard. He stumbled back, but as I turned to run, a wave of dizziness hit me. The world around me started spinning, the edges of my vision blurring into darkness. My legs wobbled, and I struggled to stay upright.
Sound became a distant murmur, and the room seemed to close in on me. I could no longer hear Vidyut's taunts or my own frantic heartbeat. Everything faded, and the last thing I saw was Vidyut's menacing figure before my vision went completely dark.
Author's POV:
Vidyut saw Akshu fainting and seized the opportunity. He stepped outside the room and called the parlor girls. With a sinister smile, he said, "Get in here and dress her up in a bridal outfit. I want her ready in half an hour."
The girls exchanged nervous glances but didn't dare to question him. They entered the room, their faces pale with unease. With swift, practiced motions, they started working on Akshu, moving their brushes and applying makeup. Within the half-hour, she was transformed into a stunning bride, though unconscious. They laid her gently on the bed and hurried out, casting fearful looks back at Vidyut.
Akshu slowly regained consciousness, blinking as the room came into focus. A sharp pain radiated between her legs and in her stomach, sending waves of dread through her body. Her mind raced to the thought she desperately wanted to avoid. Her eyes widened in horror as she took in her reflection in the mirror opposite her. Dressed in a bridal outfit, she looked beautiful but felt shattered.
"When did this happen?" she muttered, her voice a mere whisper. She struggled to stand, and a sharp pain shot through her again, causing her to clutch the bedpost for support. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a red stain on the sheets. Panic surged through her.
"Does that mean I... I got... ra... raped?" Her voice broke, and her mouth went dry as she whispered the dreaded word. Her world seemed to collapse around her. "No... No, Akshu, this is not true," she gasped, tears streaming down her face. She covered her mouth with her hand, shivering uncontrollably. The image of Veer flashed in her mind. How could she face him now? The shame and helplessness overwhelmed her, and she was devastated, her sobs filling the room.
Just then, the door burst open with a loud thud, startling Akshu. Vidyut entered with a dirty smirk plastered across his face.
"Ah, you're awake," he said, his voice dripping with mockery. "You look stunning, Akshara. Perfect for our wedding, don't you think?"
Akshu's eyes blazed with anger and fear. "What have you done to me?" she cried out, her voice shaking.
Vidyut's smirk widened. "I did what I had to. You should be grateful. Not everyone gets to marry someone like me."
Akshu's tears fell harder. "You... you monster! How could you? How could you do this to me?" Her voice broke again as she sank to the floor, clutching her stomach, the pain and humiliation too much to bear.
Vidyut knelt beside her, his expression twisted with sadistic pleasure. "Oh, come on now. Don't be so dramatic. It's not the end of the world. You're going to be my wife, after all. You'll get used to it."
[Chup kar kutte🤬🤬🤬]
Akshu's sobs intensified. The room seemed to close in around her as she was consumed by despair. The memories of the pain, the red stain, the loss of her dignity, all circled in her mind, making her feel like she was drowning in a sea of hopelessness.
Through her tears, she looked up at Vidyut, her voice a whisper of anguish. "Why? Why are you doing this to me?"
Vidyut's smirk widened. "You want to know why? It's simple. Revenge."
Akshu's confusion was evident. "Revenge? For what? What did I ever do to you?"
"It's not about you, Akshu. It's about Veer. Your precious Veer."
Akshu's brow furrowed. "Veer? What does he have to do with this?"
Vidyut's eyes darkened. "My sister, Ananya's death"
Akshu gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. "No... that can't be true. Veer would never..."
"Oh, but he did," Vidyut interrupted, his voice cold. "You want to know what happened? Let me show you."
Flashback Scene
The scene faded into a luxurious business party. The room was filled with well-dressed guests, the clinking of glasses, and soft music playing in the background. Ananya, a beautiful woman with cunning eyes and a confident smile, stood at the edge of the room, her gaze fixed on Veer.
She took a deep breath and approached him. "Hi, Veer. I'm Ananya."
Veer greeted with the same straight face,"Hello"
"I've heard a lot about you," she said, her voice sultry. "I've been wanting to talk to you for a while."
Veer looked at her curiously. "Oh? What did you want to talk about?"
Ananya leaned in closer, lowering her voice. "I've admired you for a long time. I think you're incredible, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in getting to know me better."
[Kamini mera veer tujhme kabhi interest kya dekhega bhi nhi]
Veer's expression hardened, "Ananya, Sorry but I'm already in a committed relationship. I'm married and I love my Wife very much."
Ananya's face hardened for a moment before she forced a smile. "I know you're married. But marriages can be... complicated. I can offer you something different, something exciting."
Veer stepped back, his face serious. "Ananya, I don't know what you think of me, but I am devoted to my wife. I would never betray her."
Ananya's eyes flashed with anger. "Are you sure about that, Veer? You're turning down a chance to be with someone who really wants you."
Veer's jaw clenched and he moved away from her saying, "I'm sure. This conversation is over. Goodbye, Miss.."
Ananya watched him walk away, her fists clenched in fury.
End of Flashback
Vidyut's voice brought Akshu back to the present. "Ananya was furious and humiliated. She couldn't bear the rejection. In her twisted mind, she believed she deserved Veer, and when he turned her down, it broke her. She took her own life because of him. And now, I'm going to make Veer suffer the same way."
[Ye dono bhai behan psycho hai🥲]
Akshu's tears of confusion and sorrow turned to tears of rage. "You think this will destroy him? You think this will break him? You are the real monster, Vidyut. Not Veer."
Vidyut's smirk faltered for a moment, replaced by a flash of anger. "We'll see about that," he spat, standing up and leaving the room with a final, cruel laugh.
Akshu was left alone, her heart shattered, her soul crying out in agony. The reflection in the mirror no longer looked like her. The beautiful bride staring back was nothing but a mask hiding the broken pieces of who she once was.
The reflection in the mirror only fueled her anger and frustration. The sight of herself in the bridal dress, a mockery of the sacred bond she had dreamed of sharing with Veer, pushed her over the edge. With a cry of rage, she picked up a heavy vase and hurled it at the dressing mirror. The glass shattered into countless pieces, mirroring her own shattered spirit. She felt like a broken doll, her life in fragments around her.
Her breaths came in ragged gasps as she stared at the shards scattered across the floor. Each piece seemed to taunt her, reminding her of the dignity and purity she had lost. How could she ever face Veer again? How could she bear to see the disappointment in his eyes?
"Veer... I'm sorry," she whispered to herself, tears streaming down her face. Her thoughts spun in a dizzying vortex of despair and hopelessness. "I can't do this. I can't live like this."
Akshu's mind raced with memories, each one a painful reminder of the life she once had. She saw her family's smiling faces, heard their laughter, felt their love. She remembered the warmth of her friends' embraces, the joy they had shared. And most of all, she saw Veer. His smile, his sincerity, the way he made her feel safe and cherished. Every memory was a knife to her heart, cutting deeper and deeper.
[My baby😭😭🫂]
"I can't live without you, Veer," she choked out, her voice barely audible. "I can't... I can't..."
In a moment of finality, she picked up a shard of the broken mirror. The cold, sharp edge of the glass seemed to mirror the cold emptiness she felt inside. She placed it against her left wrist, her heart pounding with fear and resolve. And before doing it she looked upwards in the sky like talking with Veer; she spoke, "Maybe our Love was for this much time, I'm leaving this body but my soul will always be yours. On the other side of universe, I will ask my Kanhaji to give me you as a blessing. I couldn't confess my love to you. But I love you so much Veeransh, that it pains to be away from you forever."
Taking a deep breath, she moved the sharp piece of mirror across her wrist in one swift motion. A scream of pain tore from her throat, the physical agony mingling with the torment in her heart.
She collapsed to the floor with a thud, her vision blurring as blood pooled around her. Tears continued to flow from her eyes, and she could feel her consciousness slipping away. The room seemed to grow darker and colder, and she felt herself drifting toward an abyss.
Just then, the door burst open. Veer entered the room, his face a mask of horror as he took in the scene before him. His world collapsed in an instant.
"Akshu!" he screamed, his voice filled with desperation and anguish. He sprinted across the room, his legs drenched in Akshu's blood as he reached her. He gathered her limp body into his arms, cradling her against his chest.
"Akshu, no, please! Stay with me!" Veer's voice trembled as he held her close, his tears mingling with hers. He pressed his hand against her wrist, trying to stop the bleeding. "Help! Someone help me!"
Akshu's eyes fluttered open for a moment, and she looked up at Veer with a weak, sad smile. "Veer... you came... I'm sorry--"
"Don't talk like that," Veer pleaded, his voice breaking. "You're going to be okay. Just hold on, please."
[Who thought that the man who takes lives, is asking his wife to hold on for her life. To stay alive. 🥺🥺]
But Akshu's eyes were already closing again, her strength fading. Veer clutched her tighter, his heart breaking as he realized the love of his life was slipping away from him.
In those final moments, Akshu found a strange sense of peace. She was in Veer's arms, and that was all she had ever wanted. As darkness claimed her, she held onto the sound of his voice, the warmth of his embrace, and the love that had defined her existence.
"Please, Akshu, don't leave me," Veer whispered, his voice choked with tears. "I can't live without you. Please, fight for us."
With the last ounce of strength she had, Akshu opened her eyes and looked at Veer. "I love you, Veer. Always," she whispered before her eyes closed again, her body going limp in his arms.
"No! Akshu, stay with me!" Veer cried out, his voice filled with anguish. He scooped her up in his arms, holding her bridal-style. Her blood soaked into his clothes, but he didn't care. He had to save her. He couldn't lose her.
Veer ran through the house, his heart pounding in his chest. "Hold on, Akshu. Please, hold on," he pleaded as he carried her to his car. He laid her gently in the back seat before jumping into the driver's seat and speeding toward the hospital.
"Stay with me, Akshu. We're almost there," Veer said, glancing back at her pale, lifeless form. Tears streamed down his face as he drove, his hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly that his knuckles turned white. "I can't lose you. I won't lose you."
The drive to the hospital felt like an eternity. Veer kept talking to Akshu, begging her to stay with him, to keep fighting. His heart ached with every passing second, knowing that her life hung in the balance.
Finally, he screeched to a halt outside the emergency room. "Help! Someone help me!" he shouted as he ran inside, carrying Akshu in his arms. Nurses and doctors rushed to his side, taking Akshu from him and placing her on a stretcher.
"Please, save her," Veer begged, his voice breaking. "She's everything to me."
The medical team worked quickly, wheeling Akshu into the emergency room. Veer watched helplessly, his world crumbling around him. He fell to his knees, sobbing uncontrollably.
"Akshu, please come back to me," he whispered, his heart breaking. "I need you. I love you."
The minutes felt like hours as Veer waited for any news, his mind tormented by fear and sorrow. He clung to the hope that Akshu would survive, that their love would pull her through. But as the doors to the emergency room remained closed, the uncertainty gnawed at his soul.
"Please, Akshu," Veer whispered, his tears falling to the floor. "Please don't leave me."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Veer saw Krishnaji's idol in the corner of the room. He had never believed in gods, but today, for his wife, he wanted to believe in her Kanhaji's miracle. Taking slow, deliberate steps towards the corner, he bowed down in front of the idol, joining his hands in a gesture of prayer. Tears of helplessness and defeat flowed freely from his eyes as he spoke, his voice breaking with emotion.
"I never believed in you," he began, his words choked by sobs. "But the woman inside that emergency room, fighting for her life, trusts you with all her heart. You can't do this to her. You can't do this injustice. You have to save her and give her the happy life she deserves. I'm pleading with you," he said, his voice growing quieter and more desperate. "I can't lose her, Kanhaji. Please, save her."
As Veer knelt there, his heart heavy with despair, the door to the emergency room opened. His head snapped up, and he quickly wiped his eyes, rushing to see what the doctors had to say. The doctor walked towards him with a serious expression, her face pale and etched with concern.
"Sir," the doctor began gently, her tone professional yet empathetic, "Ma'am's condition is critical. She has lost a significant amount of blood. Additionally, she recently had her periods, which has further weakened her immune system. The good news is that she is out of immediate danger now, but we can't say anything definitive yet. We need to wait for her to regain consciousness in the next three hours."
[Akshu didn't got raped. Thankgod😭🙏🏻🙏🏻]
Veer swallowed hard, trying to process the information. "So... there's a chance she'll be okay?" he asked, his voice trembling with hope and fear.
The doctor nodded. "Yes, there's a chance. But we have to be cautious. She's stable for now, but the next few hours are crucial. We'll do everything we can."
"Thank you," Veer whispered, his voice breaking. "Thank you so much."
The doctor gave him a small, encouraging smile before leaving him standing there, a mix of relief and anxiety swirling within him. Veer turned back towards the idol, his hands still clasped together.
"Thank you for saving her," he whispered, his voice filled with a cautious hope. He then walked over to the small window that looked into Akshu's room. Her body was attached to various machines, her face pale and devoid of its usual vibrant color. Seeing her like this broke Veer's heart. He placed a hand on the glass, as if trying to reach out and touch her, to comfort her in any way he could.
Realizing he needed to inform the family, Veer pulled out his phone and dialed his younger brother's number. The phone rang a few times before Riansh picked up. "Veer bhaiya, what happened? Is everything okay? You rescued Bhabhimaa?" Riansh's voice was filled with concern.
Veer took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice. "Riansh, I... I managed to rescue Akshu. I caught Vidyut and handed him over to my men. But... Akshu's condition is very serious. She's lost a lot of blood and her immune system is weak. The doctors have done what they can, but we have to wait and see if she regains consciousness."
There was a pause on the other end of the line as Riansh processed the information. "Bhaiya, we're all so worried. How is she now? What do the doctors say?" Riansh's voice trembled slightly.
"They said she's out of immediate danger, but they can't say anything for sure until she wakes up," Veer replied, his voice heavy with the weight of the situation.
There was a brief silence, and then Riansh's voice broke, filled with emotion. "Bhaiya, she's going to make it. She has to. She's a fighter, just like you always say. We're all praying for her."
Veer could hear the worry and fear in his brother's voice, and it made his own heart ache even more. "I know, Riansh. I just... I can't lose her. I don't know what I'd do."
"You won't lose her, bhaiya. We're coming to see Bhabhimaa right now. The whole family is on their way. Just hold on, okay? We need to be strong for her," Riansh said, his voice filled with determination.
Veer nodded, even though his brother couldn't see him. "Thank you, Riansh. I... I don't know what I would do without you all."
"We'll be there soon," Riansh assured him before hanging up.
Veer put his phone away and returned to the window, watching Akshu's still form. The minutes ticked by slowly, each one feeling like an eternity. He prayed silently, hoping against hope that Akshu would wake up soon. As he waited, he thought about their life together, the dreams they had shared, and the future they had planned. He couldn't imagine a life without her, and the thought of losing her was unbearable.
"Please, Kanhaji," he whispered again, his voice barely audible. "Bring her back to me."
He stood there, his heart aching with a mix of hope and fear, as he watched over his beloved Akshu, praying for a miracle.
