41. Little Krishna or Little Radharani ?🦚

📖

The morning sun cast a gentle light over the Singhaniya mansion, and the soft breeze carried the scent of fresh marigolds and incense. It was Janmashtami, and the entire house was decorated with flowers, bright lights, and colorful rangolis. The temple, glowing with a divine aura, carefully prepared by Akshu.

Dressed in a blue and white saree that flowed gracefully with her movements, Akshu stood in front of the idol of Lord Krishna. Her eyes were closed, and a serene smile graced her lips as she began to sing the devotional song, "Radhe Krishna ki jyoti alaukik," her voice soft and filled with devotion. The words flowed from her heart, each note carrying her deep love and faith.

As she sang, Akshu moved gracefully around the temple, lighting diyas one by one. Her hands moved delicately, as if each diya she lit was an offering of her devotion to Lord Krishna. She paused before the idol, folding her hands in prayer, her eyes glistening with unshed tears of reverence.

With each verse of the song, her emotions became more evident. "Tino lok mein chhaaye rahi hai," she sang, her voice lifting slightly as if reaching out to the heavens. She placed fresh flowers at the feet of the deity, her touch gentle, her actions slow and deliberate, showing her respect and deep connection to the divine.

"Bhakti vivash ek prem pujaarin, Phir bhi deep jalaaye rahi hai," she continued, her voice now a soft whisper filled with emotion. "Krishna ko gokul se radhe ko, barsaane se bulaye rahi hai." Akshu's eyes remained closed as she swayed gently to the rhythm of the song, her face glowing with a mixture of peace and devotion. She picked up a small bell and rang it gently, the sound echoing through the veranda, harmonizing perfectly with her singing.

As she sang the final line, "Dono karo swikar kripa kre, jogan aarti gaye rahi hai", she bowed her head deeply, a single tear rolling down her cheek, her devotion complete and pure. She opened her eyes slowly, taking a deep breath, and placed the bell down gently.

Just then, the family members began to arrive, drawn in by the divine atmosphere Akshu had created, like bees attracted to honey. The soothing sound of her voice had spread across the mansion, pulling everyone towards the temple.

Her mother-in-law, smiling softly, whispered, "Akshu, you've made this Janmashtami so special with your devotion."

Akshu turned to her with a gentle smile, "It's all for Kanha ji, Ma. His blessings make everything beautiful."

Her husband, Veeranshu, stepped forward, admiration clear in his eyes. "You've filled our home with such peace, Akshu. Thank you."

Akshu's cheeks flushed slightly, and she replied softly, "I just did what felt right. Today is about love and devotion to Lord Krishna."

The family gathered around, joining in the aarti that followed, each one touched by the sacred ambiance that Akshu had created. The temple seemed to glow brighter, reflecting the light in everyone's eyes, a perfect start to the Janmashtami celebration.

Akshu stood by the kitchen counter, her hands rhythmically churning a pot of Makhan for her beloved Kanhaji's Bhog. Her face was lit with joy, and a soft smile played on her lips. Her movements were gentle but purposeful, as if each turn of the churn was a prayer, each twist of her wrist an offering of her devotion.

"Maa, I'm so happy," Akshu said, her voice filled with a soft, serene happiness. The smile on her lips was one of pure contentment.

Meera, her mother-in-law, glanced over from where she was preparing other dishes for the pooja. She couldn't help but smile, seeing the light in Akshu's eyes. "Aree waah! Aaj meri beti boht khush hai," she said, her voice filled with admiration and affection.

[Wow! seems like my daughter is very happy today.]

Akshu's hands never stopped moving, but her mind seemed to drift back to her past. "You know, Maa," she began, her voice becoming softer, more thoughtful, "this is the very first time I'm celebrating my Kanhaji's Janamdin with my family." Her eyes took on a faraway look as she remembered the Janmashtamis she had celebrated alone or just with her friend, Shyra. Those times were filled with love, but something always felt missing. Today, however, surrounded by her new family, she felt complete.

[aww my akshu baby😭🥺🫂]

Meera's eyes softened, and a tear escaped, glistening in the corner of her eye. She understood what Akshu meant, the longing behind those words. Without saying anything, she moved closer, wrapping her arms around Akshu in a warm embrace. She pressed a gentle kiss to Akshu's forehead, her voice filled with emotion. "Baccha, you're never alone now. We're all here for you, always."

Akshu leaned into the embrace, feeling the warmth of her mother-in-law's love surrounding her like a comforting blanket. "Thank you, Maa," she whispered, her voice catching slightly, overwhelmed by the moment. "I just want this Janmashtami to be filled with fun and to be a grand celebration for my Kanhaji. He deserves the best, and I want to make Him feel all the love I have in my heart."

[Us akshu us😭😭🤌🏻]

Meanwhile, Veer stood just outside the kitchen, having come to see what all the commotion was about. He had been quietly listening to their conversation, hidden from their view. Hearing Akshu's heartfelt words, he felt a strange tug at his heart. Her pure joy, her devotion, and her desire to make this day special not just for herself but for everyone, especially for her beloved Kanhaji, touched him deeply.

Veer leaned against the doorframe, a small smile forming on his lips. He had never realized just how much Janmashtami meant to Akshu or how deeply her faith ran. Watching her now, with her eyes shining and her face glowing with happiness, he could see the depth of her love for Lord Krishna. It wasn't just about rituals for her; it was about a personal bond, a deep connection that she cherished with all her heart.

[Mera pati 😌🥰]

As he watched, Akshu continued to speak, her voice filled with excitement. "I want everyone to feel Kanhaji's presence today, Maa. I want the house to be filled with joy, laughter, and love, just like Vrindavan must have been when He was born. We'll sing, dance, and celebrate with all our hearts!"

Meera chuckled softly, wiping a tear from her cheek, "And we will, Akshu. If you're here with us, how can it not be a grand celebration?"

Veer, still standing outside the kitchen, felt his heart swell with pride and affection. Without making a sound, he turned and walked away, deciding to make this Janmashtami the best one yet, just as Akshu wished.

As he walked away, he whispered to himself, "This year, we'll make it as grand as she dreams."

Akshu's Pov:

The whole morning and afternoon, was so tiring. But this day comes once in a year, and I have prepared everything. I was doing the decoration for evening event, when maa sent me upstairs saying 'I'm working tirelessly, I need to rest.' She was adamant on sending me upstairs, but seeing her cute glare I had to come.

I looked at myself in the mirror, a small smile playing on my lips as I took in my reflection. The pink saree felt so soft against my skin, its delicate fabric flowing gracefully around me. The embroidered flowers seemed to dance with every move I made, and the red blouse added just the right contrast, making the saree's color pop.

The jewelry sparkled under the soft light—a simple gold necklace resting gently on my collarbone, matching bangles that jingled softly with each movement, and the maang tikka sitting perfectly on my forehead, making me feel so traditional and elegant. I touched the earrings, feeling their gentle weight sway with my movements.

I took a deep breath, my heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and nervousness for the event downstairs. "I hope everything goes perfectly," I thought, giving myself one last look in the mirror before turning to head out.

Just as I reached for the doorknob, it suddenly clicked and swung open. Startled, I stumbled backward, my heart skipping a beat as I lost my balance. But before I could even think about hitting the ground, I felt strong arms wrap around my waist, steadying me. I looked up, breathless, to see Veer, my handsome husband, holding me close.

He was dressed in a light blue kurta that seemed to accentuate his broad shoulders and muscular frame. A gold chain rested on his neck, catching the light just right. His eyes were filled with a playful glint, but there was something else there, too—something deeper, more intense. My gaze traveled over his face, taking in his sharp jawline, the hint of a smile on his lips, and the way his biceps flexed as he held me. He looked utterly irresistible, and I felt my heart flutter.

"Careful there, love," he murmured, his voice low and teasing. "Wouldn't want you to get hurt before the festivities begin."

I blushed, still caught in the moment of nearly falling. "Thank you," I whispered, trying to steady my racing heart. But I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. His touch, firm yet gentle, sent a shiver down my spine.

Veer's eyes darkened slightly as he noticed my gaze lingering on his arms. A slow smirk spread across his lips, making him look even more devilishly handsome. "Like what you see?" he teased, his voice dripping with playful arrogance.

[I do😏.... akshu be like: Stop flirting with my husband🔪]

I felt a blush creep up my cheeks, and I tried to look away, but he gently tilted my chin back up, forcing me to meet his gaze. "Don't look away, Akshu," he whispered, his voice now a soft command. "I like seeing you flustered."

Before I could respond, his lips were on mine, soft yet demanding. The kiss was gentle at first, but quickly grew more passionate. His hands moved from my waist to the small of my back, pulling me closer against him. I melted into his touch, my fingers instinctively curling into the fabric of his kurta.

Every touch, every kiss ignited something inside me—a fire that only Veer could spark. His hands roamed my back, sending waves of warmth through me, and I couldn't help but respond, wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him even closer. I could feel the heat of his body against mine, and it made my head spin with a mixture of emotions—desire, love, and a hint of nervous excitement.

"Veer," I managed to whisper between kisses, my breath hitching. "We... we have to go downstairs soon. The family will be waiting..."

He pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against mine, his breath warm against my lips. "Let them wait," he murmured, his voice thick with desire. "Right now, I just want to be with my beautiful wife."

[Daddy Veer is my Favourite😭🤌🏻]

A soft laugh escaped my lips, and I leaned in to kiss him again, unable to resist. His hands found their way to my hair, fingers threading through the strands as he deepened the kiss. I could feel his heart beating as fast as mine, and it made me smile against his lips.

As our lips moved together, my hands wandered over his chest, feeling the hard muscles beneath the soft fabric of his kurta. He groaned softly against my mouth, the sound sending a thrill through me. I knew we were getting carried away, but at that moment, I didn't care.

The intensity of the moment was almost overwhelming, and I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes—not from sadness, but from the sheer emotion of it all. The love, the passion, the way he made me feel so cherished and desired—it was almost too much.

Finally, Veer pulled back, his breathing heavy, his eyes filled with a mix of love and longing. He cupped my face in his hands, his thumb gently brushing away a tear that had escaped. "Akshu," he said softly, his voice filled with tenderness, "I love you more than anything in this world. Never forget that."

I nodded, my voice catching in my throat as I replied, "I love you too, Veer. So much."

[fucking finally😭😭 nacho guyss💃🏻💃🏻]

We stood there for a moment, lost in each other's eyes, the world around us fading away. I knew we had to go downstairs, but right now, in this moment, all that mattered was us.

Still reluctant, I took him downstairs.

Veer's POV:

We reached the stairs, and I noticed Akshu suddenly still beside me. I turned to look at her, and her eyes were brimming with tears of happiness. She looked so overwhelmed, and it made my heart swell seeing her like this. I quickly brushed away the tears from her cheeks with my thumb. "You liked it, sweetheart?" I asked softly, hoping the surprise had brought her joy.

She glanced up at me, her eyes shining with emotion, and before I knew it, she flung herself into my arms, hugging me tightly. I chuckled at her sudden movement, feeling a wave of affection wash over me. "Such a cute wife I have, O Krishna."

"Veeransh, thank you so, so much! You made my day. This is just... perfect," she said, pulling back from the hug with a radiant smile on her face.

[Day 526719 of asking god..Where is my Veeru😭😭😭🤌🏻]

I cupped her cheeks gently, leaning in to place a soft kiss on her forehead. "Little Birdie gets what she wants," I teased, watching as her smile grew even wider.

"Chalo, let's go," I said, taking her hand. She nodded, and we made our way down the stairs. As soon as we reached the bottom, a group of children from the orphanage rushed toward us, their faces lighting up with excitement.

"Akshu Didi! Akshu Didi!" they called out, their voices filled with joy. Akshu bent down to greet them, already familiar with their enthusiastic hugs and giggles. She had been visiting them on weekends, and they adored her just as much as she adored them.

The kids, dressed up in their adorable Radha Krishna outfits, began to excitedly show Akshu how they looked. She was clearly in awe, her face lighting up with joy as she admired their costumes and listened to their excited chatter.

Just then, a young boy - 3 year old, came up to her—Akshu's favorite, of course. He was dressed as little Krishna, with a peacock feather in his crown and a flute in his hand. I watched as he boldly marched up to her, his tiny face set with determination.

"Akshu Baby," he said, his voice filled with a mix of shyness and pride. "Aapko pata hai na, main aapka sabse favourite hoon? Mujhe aapke saath rehna hai." Did this little punk called my Wife baby..huh. I glared at his tiny figure.

[You know, that I'm your most favorite kid? I want to stay with you.]

[Author: Abhi toh Biwi ko baby bola h...kuch saalo mein beti ko bhi Baby...OOPsie...spoiler nhi dena tha Shyra😉😗]

Akshu laughed softly, bending down to his level. "Haan, tum toh mere sabse favourite ho, Daksh," she said warmly, ruffling his hair.

[Yes, you're my fav, Daksh]

I noticed the way Daksh was looking at her—his big eyes wide with adoration. A sudden pang of jealousy shot through me. "Was this little guy trying to steal my wife's attention?"

"Arre, Daksh, Akshu Didi sirf tumhaari thodi na hai," I said, trying to sound playful but feeling a twinge of irritation. "Meri bhi toh hai." , I emphasized on the word Didi more.

[Oh, daksh, your Akshu Didi is not only yours. She is mine too.]

Daksh shot me a fierce look, his tiny brows furrowing. "Nahi, Akshu Baby sirf meri hai," he declared stubbornly, wrapping his little arms around Akshu's leg as if to prove a point.

[No, Akshu baby is only mine.]

[Ye chota packet veer pe bhaari pad rha h😭🤣🤣]

I narrowed my eyes, was this kid seriously challenging me? "Akshu meri biwi hai, bhool gaye?" I said, my tone a bit sharper than intended.

[You forgot akshu is my wife?]

Daksh, undeterred, stuck his tongue out at me, clearly feeling confident in his claim. "Baby ne kaha main unka favourite hoon! Aap nahi Uncle!"

[Baby said I'm her favourite ! Not you Uncle!]

I folded my arms, giving him a look. "Accha mai uncle, aur wo baby ! Waah bete!"

[Ohh so I'm uncle, and she is baby. Wow kid!]

Akshu looked between us, clearly amused by our little standoff. "Aap dono bilkul bachon jaise behave kar rahe hain," she laughed, shaking her head.

[Both of you are behaving like kids.]

I grumbled, feeling slightly embarrassed but still a bit annoyed. Why was I getting so worked up over this? "Dekho, Daksh, hum dono ko Akshu se pyaar hai, par tumhe yaad rakhna padega ki main unka pati hoon," I insisted, trying to maintain some dignity.

[See, Daksh, we both love Akshu, but you have to remember that I'm her husband.]

[When it comes to Love, you don't have any dignity left Mr.🥰🔪]

Daksh puffed out his chest, still not backing down. "Phir bhi, mujhe aap se zyada pyaar hai Akshu Baby se!" he retorted defiantly.

[Then also, I love Akshu baby more than you! ]

Akshu burst into laughter, clearly enjoying the whole exchange. She reached down and gave Daksh a quick hug, then turned to me with a teasing smile. "Veer, aap bhi na. Ek chote se bache se itna jealous ho rahe ho?"

[Veer, you are getting jealous of a little kid.]

I huffed, though I couldn't help the small smile that tugged at my lips. "Main jealous nahi hoon," I muttered, though it was obvious I was. "Bas yeh bachcha samjhe ki meri biwi pe claim nahi kar sakta."

[I'm not jealous. Just tell him, that he can't claim my wife.]

[ Author: "Yeah ofc...He will claim your daughte..."

"Shut up Shyra!!..shhh🤫🤫", my subconscious scolded me. ]

Daksh giggled, clearly enjoying having gotten under my skin. Akshu gave him another affectionate pat on the head. "Aap dono mere favourite ho," she said, her voice warm and soothing.

[You both are my favourite.]

I sighed, finally relaxing. Okay, maybe I was being a bit childish, but seeing Akshu happy and surrounded by love, even if it was from a pint-sized Krishna, made it all worth it.

"Bhaiyya—Bhabhimaa, it's maha aarti time. Taiji is calling you both," Hriday called out as he appeared out of nowhere, his face lighting up with excitement. We nodded, and I took Akshu's hand, leading her along with the little chipmunk Daksh, who seemed quite pleased to stay by Akshu's side.

As we approached the temple area, the air was filled with the rhythmic sound of bells and the soothing chants of devotees. The idol of Radha and Krishna was beautifully adorned with fresh flowers, and the whole room radiated a divine energy. Akshu and I stood together in front of the idol, performing the aarti in unison. The soft glow of the oil lamps flickered on her face, making her look even more angelic.

When the aarti ended, Panditji approached us with a warm smile. Placing his hand in blessing over our heads, he said, "Krishna ji ki kripa se, agle varsh aap apne chote Kanhaiyya ke saath Janmashtami manayenge."

[With lord Krishna's grace, next year you will celebrate janmashtami with your Little Kanhaiyya]

I felt Akshu's grip on my hand tighten, and I could see a slight blush coloring her cheeks. She looked at me, a mixture of happiness and shyness in her eyes. Before I could say anything, she turned to Panditji and, with a playful smile, responded, "Chhota Kanhaiyya hi kyu, Panditji... Chhoti Radharani bhi toh aa sakti hai."

[Why Little Kanhaiyya only, Panditji...it can be Little Radharani also.]

Panditji chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Bilkul, beti. Krishna-Radha ka ashirwad hamesha tum dono par bana rahe."

[ofcourse, daughter. Krishna-Radha's blessing is always with you.]

I squeezed Akshu's hand, feeling a surge of affection for her. Her wish for either a little Kanhaiyya or a Chhoti Radharani showed her pure heart, always welcoming whatever blessings come our way.

After the blessing, the festive atmosphere grew even livelier. The kids from the orphanage, dressed in their little Krishna and Radha costumes, were gathered around, eyes wide with excitement. I glanced at Akshu, who was laughing with the children, her face glowing with joy.

"Alright, everyone!" I called out, clapping my hands to get their attention. "Time for some fun! Let's start the Dahi Handi!"

Play The top most song💃🏻💃🏻

The kids cheered, and soon enough, we all moved outside where a pot filled with curd and butter was tied high up on a rope. I rolled up my sleeves, feeling a wave of competitive energy surge through me. Akshu watched from the side, her eyes shining with anticipation.

As I started climbing the human pyramid, the kids cheered me on, shouting encouragements. "Go, Veer uncle!" Daksh yelled, his voice the loudest of them all. I laughed, feeling a newfound fondness for the little troublemaker.

Akshu was clapping, a wide smile on her face. "Careful, Veer! Don't fall now!" she called out teasingly.

I shot her a mock glare, "Main apni patni ko impress karne ke liye toh kuch bhi kar sakta hoon!"

[I can do anything to impress my Wife.]

The crowd erupted in laughter and applause as I reached the top, balancing carefully. With one swift movement, I smashed the Dahi Handi, and curd splattered everywhere. The kids below cheered loudly, and I looked down to see Akshu laughing, her eyes bright with happiness.

As I descended, the kids surrounded me, all talking at once about how great the game was. Akshu made her way through the crowd and stood beside me, her smile never fading.

"You did great, Mr. Perfect," she said softly, her voice filled with pride.

I grinned, pulling her close. "Anything for you, Mrs. Perfect."

[Is 51 floor enough??🥰🔪]

Together, we watched as the festivities continued, our hearts full of joy, feeling blessed by the presence of Radha and Krishna.
