43. Birthday 😌🤌🏻

📖

In a swift, unexpected motion, Akshu pressed her lips against Veer's, catching him completely off guard. He was stunned, his eyes widening in surprise as his mind raced to catch up with what was happening. His wife—his Akshu—was kissing him with such passion, something he had never imagined she'd do so openly. Inside, his heart was dancing with pure joy, exhilaration flooding through him. He didn't want the moment to end.

On the other hand, Akshu was overcome by a tidal wave of emotions. She poured all the love she had kept locked inside into that kiss, her heart beating wildly against his chest. This was everything she had been feeling—her confession, her vulnerability, her love—all in one moment. Her hands gripped his shirt as she deepened the kiss, letting herself fall completely into him.

After a long moment, the need for air forced her to pull back. She broke the kiss, gasping softly, her breath uneven. Her glossy eyes were locked onto Veer's, staring deeply into his sparkling hazel-brown eyes, which now shone with an intensity she had never seen before. He was looking at her as though she was his whole world.

But before either of them could say anything, their moment was abruptly interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Akshu!!" came a sudden shout. Both Akshu and Veer flinched, their heads snapping toward the source of the voice, to see none other than Shyra standing there with an amused grin.

[Dono lovers kabab me haddi h succhi😭😭]

Akshu quickly stepped back, her cheeks flushing pink in embarrassment, while Veer's expression darkened with frustration at the intrusion.

"Oh, ho!" Shyra teased, her grin widening as she held up her hands defensively. "Sorry, Jiks! Please, continue..." she added with a wink, her voice dripping with mischief.

Akshu's heart raced, but this time not from the kiss. She realized how close she and Veer had been, lost in their own little world, and now Shyra had witnessed it. "Oh god, Shyra!" Akshu muttered, trying to hide her embarrassment as she stepped away from Veer.

But Shyra wasn't about to let her off so easily. She marched right into the room, grabbed Akshu by the arm, and started dragging her toward the door. "Come on, birthday girl! You've got some dressing up to do!" she announced cheerfully.

Akshu resisted slightly, looking back at Veer, who was still recovering from the sudden interruption. He gave her a playful smirk, clearly entertained by her embarrassment. "I'll be waiting," Veer called out softly, his voice low and filled with affection.

Shyra, noticing the lingering gaze between the two, rolled her eyes dramatically. "Yeah, yeah, you can drool over each other later. Right now, Akshu needs to get dressed for her big birthday celebration!"

With that, she tugged Akshu out of the lawn much to Veer's amusement.

VEER's POV:

The second Akshu appeared at the top of the stairs, the world around me just... stopped. It was like someone hit pause on everything except her. My heart? Forget about it. It was pounding so hard, I swear she could probably hear it from where she stood. That pink sequin saree she was wearing, it clung to her in all the right ways, making her look like she had stepped straight out of my dreams.

I couldn't breathe. How could I, when she looked like that?

Her hair was cascading down in soft waves, and her face... God, that glow. She was radiant, like she had the sun inside her. I didn't know how long I stood there, just staring, but I couldn't help it. She had me completely spellbound. My wife. My beautiful Akshu.

As she started walking toward me, everything else disappeared. The music, the noise, the people—none of it mattered. It was just her. Every step she took was like a magnet pulling me in. My heart felt like it might burst, and I knew, in that moment, I'd never get tired of seeing her like this, of loving her like this.

When she finally reached me, I didn't know if I should pull her into my arms or fall to my knees. The way she looked at me—those eyes, filled with so much warmth and love—left me speechless.

"Shall I steal you from here, only for myself?" I managed to murmur, my voice coming out softer than I intended, but full of every ounce of admiration I had for her.

Her lips curled into that soft, teasing smile that always made my heart race. "Veeransh, you're so shameless," she whispered, her voice light but filled with affection.

"Only for my Sweetheart," I said, my heart skipping a beat as I stared into her eyes, knowing that this woman, standing in front of me, was my entire world.

She looked around at the decorations, at everything I had planned, her eyes wide with awe and surprise. I stepped closer, lowering my voice just for her ears. "Do you like it?" I asked, hoping to catch even a glimpse of the happiness I wanted to give her.

She turned to me, her eyes shimmering with gratitude and something deeper, something that made my heart swell. "I love it, Veer. Thank you... for everything," she whispered, and in that moment, I knew I'd do it all again, a hundred times over, just to see her smile like that.

I smiled, my hand finding its place on her waist as if it was always meant to be there. "Anything for you, Little Birdie. Today's all about you."

Looking at her, with our family and friends surrounding us, I knew that no matter what happened, as long as I had her, I had everything I ever needed.

Akshu finished cutting the cake, her face glowing with happiness as she fed small pieces to our family and friends. She looked so content, so full of joy, and I couldn't help but feel proud to be the reason behind that smile. But when she came near me, offering me a piece of cake, I couldn't resist teasing her a little. As soon as she held the piece out to me, I deliberately took her fingers into my mouth, licking the frosting off with a slow, deliberate motion.

[veeru get a room😭😭]

The way her body reacted didn't escape me—she shivered slightly, her eyes widening in surprise. I watched as her cheeks flushed a deep crimson, and I had to suppress the smirk threatening to appear. Gotcha.

"Veer!" she whispered under her breath, her voice laced with a mix of embarrassment and that sweet irritation she always gets when I push her buttons.

I grinned, feeding her a piece of cake in return, savoring the small moment of intimacy amidst all the chaos around us. Then, I led her to the stage where we both sat down, watching as one by one, people came up to wish her happy birthday.

I could see the surprise in Akshu's eyes when familiar faces from my business world started appearing. I had called everyone—business partners, associates, anyone who mattered. This was her night, and I wanted to make sure she felt like the queen she was, not just to me, but to everyone else, too.

As the room buzzed with chatter and laughter, I glanced at Akshu, who was looking around in awe. I leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "I wanted to make sure the world knows just how special you are."

Her eyes softened, and for a moment, it was just the two of us in our own little bubble, despite being surrounded by so many people.

AKSHU's POV:

[Play the top most song and continue reading.]

The lights dimmed, casting a soft, golden glow over the mansion. I could feel the excitement in the air as everyone started whispering in anticipation. Suddenly, from the center of the room, a spotlight landed on Riansh. He stood there, his energy infectious, grinning widely at all of us. And then it happened—the iconic song Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om began to play, filling the space with its vibrant, upbeat rhythm.

Riansh, my ever-energetic brother-in-law, immediately started grooving, capturing everyone's attention with his signature SRK-style moves. His charm, his swagger—it was like watching Shah Rukh himself on stage. And just as in the movie, one by one, familiar faces began to appear.

"Dekho dekho hai shaam badi deewani..."

His feet moved effortlessly to the beat, and I couldn't help but smile. The atmosphere was electric, and soon Shyra made her grand entrance, dancing her way toward Riansh.

"Dheere dheere ban jaye na koi kahani, Dilbar hai dilkash hai dildaar nazare hain..."

She made her glamorous entrance in a stunning baby blue saree, her radiant smile lighting up the room. She danced beside Riansh, twirling and gliding with ease. The two of them danced like they'd been practicing for weeks, their chemistry lighting up the stage.

As the music shifted again, Hriday made his grand entry.

"Aaj zameen par utre kitne sitare hain...

Atlo hosh na mi danam

Hum hai dil hai ayour janam

Bas deewangi deewangi deewangi hai "

Dressed sharp, he swaggered in, grooving to the beat with Riansh. The two of them broke into an energetic dance, each movement bolder than the last. Hriday's goofy side made the whole thing even more fun, and I couldn't help but giggle. He reminded me of the carefree moments we all shared together.

The energy between Riansh and Hriday was infectious, and they had everyone clapping along.

Then, Shyra and Riansh danced together to:

"Na koi rahe sam rahe per, Yeh ilzaam lage kisper, bas deewangi deewangi deewangi hai..."

It was Shyra and Riansh's moment, their chemistry showing as they twirled and laughed, leaving everyone mesmerized.

"All hot girls put your hands up and say om shanti om..."

Riansh danced in the center as the girls surrounded him, cheering and clapping.

"All cool boys come on make some noise and say om shanti om..."

The energy in the room spiked as Pakhi made her entry wearing a stunning silver gown. She danced confidently, spinning around her brother, taking the stage by storm.

The crowd roared as my mother-in-law and father-in-law entered, joining Riansh in their graceful moves. Soon after, Chacha and Chachi joined in, they too danced with such elegance, joining Riansh and making the celebration feel even more intimate and family-oriented. I was amazed at how effortlessly they blended into the youthful energy around them.

I was lost in the fun when suddenly, unfamiliar faces started appearing one after another.

A woman in a lavender gown caught my attention next, and Riansh greeted her warmly, pulling her into a romantic dance. They moved together with a special chemistry, their steps smooth and synchronized. As she twirled and smiled, Riansh made sure to introduce us quickly during a brief pause in the music. "Bhabhimaa, meet Paridhi Patnaik, she works in my Office.," he said while blushing, glancing at Paridhi.  before returning to his romantic moves with her.

[A/n: So, as my Veer's admin requested for a grand meetup of all the noor fam. I decided to add their cameo in Akshu's Birthday. All the characters are from my books only.]

[Paridhi and Riansh - feature in 📖 Stolen Glances.]

"Happy Birthday, Akshara Ma'am! I have heard a lot about you from Riansh. You look so beautiful in this saree.", Pari complemented me, a blush crept on my cheeks. "Please, call me Akshu. Don't be formal, you're Riansh's friend." Pari nodded and said, "Ok, Akshu di.", I gave her a hug, while pinching Riansh's cheek. Now, I know, who was that girl in his office, that he likes so much. I love her already.

"Shaam gazab ki humgamna khez ai

Iska nasha hi gehra hai tez hai"

Next, a handsome and tall man entered, and behind him a woman, exuding an aura of confidence and allure that immediately captured the room's attention. They danced with a fiery intensity, the two of them owning the space with their bold moves. Riansh kept up, and I found myself fascinated by their moves. Riansh, again introduced me to them.

"Bhabhimaa, meet Ranveer Singh Raizada and Sanjh Sharma, two of our companies Business Partners. They've got quite the reputation for stealing the spotlight," he chuckled, and I could see why—they were magnetic. "Wishing you a day full of joy, Mrs. Singhaniya.", Sanjh shook hands with me and I saw Ranveer talking with Veeransh. Then both of them proceeded with the party.

"Shaam gazab ki humgamna khez ai

Iska nasha hi gehra hai tez hai"

Next, a couple arrived as the same line played. The beautiful woman, greeted everyone while her husband joined the dance floor. They came near me, and the man greeted me, "Happy Birthday Mrs. Singhaniya. Myself Jaiveer Singh Thakur and she is my wife, Aaradhna Singh Thakur."

[Jaiveer Singh Thakur & Aaradhna Singh Thakur.- feature in 📖Inseparable Destiny ]

Jaiveer, pulled Aaradhna in a side hug, but I can see a slight unease and discomfort in her body language. Soon, I could say something, the man pulled her with him to the corner.

"Zulf khuli hai resham resham

Saans ghuli hai madham madham

Yeh to ishaare hain"

Just as I started feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the introductions, Riansh pulled me into the dance floor with him, making me laugh and twirl alongside him. We danced alongside, enjoying each other's company.

Before I could catch my breath, another pair of couple entered like a Bollywood power couple, full of charm and playfulness. Their dance was lighthearted, and Riansh quickly introduced them as well. "Bhabhi, meet Aaransh Singh Rathore and his secretary Deepti Sharma", he called out, and they wished and smiled at me as they joined the dance.

Then, as if the night couldn't get more extravagant, Authorshyra appeared, shimmering in a stunning bodycon dress.

"All cool boys come on

Make some noise and say om shanti om"

Her presence was powerful, and Riansh made sure to give her the spotlight. She danced with elegance and grace, making the room feel even more alive. "Akshu Bhabhi, this is Authorshyra, the special person, who made introduced our family, to her Lovely Audience, and one of the most creative souls you'll ever meet," he said, his tone full of admiration.

[Kyun Chauka daala na sabko 😏😏 Akhir Authorshyra ne entry maar hi di....😌💃🏻💋]

"Aww, you're so cute, Riansh. I know Paridhi is here. Go and dance with her.", she said while giving a playful wink to Riansh, who rushed quickly towards Paridhi, who was standing in the corner.

"My Akshu Baby, Happy Birthday !!!", she gave me a hug, she is so cute and energetic. I like her. "Thankyou, Authorshyra.", I said while reciprocating the quick hug, then I saw her glancing towards Veeransh. He wasn't even batting an eye on her.

"Hii Veer !!", she greeted but he ignored her. I don't know why, he is acting like that. I nudged him by the elbow, and glare him. "Hello, Authorshyra.", he said and i saw Shyranoor fanning herself.

[Ab mai usko kya btau, her husband is so so fucking hott]

"Kehne ko waise to sara sukun hai, Phir bhi yeh dil hai ki isko junoon hai..."

Archit Oberoi and Agastya Raichand entered, each of them dancing with the enthusiasm of the night.

[Agastya Raichand- feature in 📖 Echoes of Unseen Promises]

Soon after, Adira Mathur, who danced gracefully beside Naqsh Rajvansh as they held hands. I saw that the man, was blind but the girl beside him, never let him feel that. She was with him all the time.

"Pal do pal ko khwaab saza de, Isko usko sab ko bata de, Raaz jo saare hain..."

played as Pankti Agarwal entered, holding Arhaan Singh Grover's hand, completing the beautiful pair. I can see the sincerity in their eyes for each other.

Finally, Veer made his grand entry, dancing with Riansh to the song's climax:

"Atlo hosh na mi danam, Hum hai dil hai aur janam, Bas deewangi deewangi deewangi hai..."

He stole the stage with his charm, and I watched, completely mesmerized by his energy.

"All hot gals put your hands up and say om shanti om, All cool boys come on make some noise and say om shanti om..."

Everyone gathered around, dancing with Riansh, who, by now, had danced with almost everyone in the room. The entire place was alive with laughter, music, and movement. And this is how the Best Birthday night ended, with so many new faces and the sweet memories of love.

Finally, the Birthday chapter is over.😌💃🏻💃🏻
